Jason approached the score with a stripped-down, gritty take on the supernatural Western. Rather than relying on a sweeping orchestral cowboy sound, he used a sparse palette of bass guitar, percussion, ominous synthesizers, and layered acoustic and electric guitars. The resulting score feels primal and earthy, balancing dusty frontier textures with the unease of demons, curses, ghost trains, and undead gunslingers.
