Jason recorded Moss: Book II with an intimate, hand-played ensemble built around grand piano, Celtic harp, Irish whistles, cello, electric bass, and a small “pub band” of soloists. Performing many cues live at the piano before layering additional instruments, he shaped the score around Quill’s heroism, heartbreak, and sense of wonder, using warm acoustic performances, delicate folk colors, and expansive reverb/delay processing to bring the magical world of Moss to life.
