The Devil in Me

Survival Horror·Supermassive Games·2022

The Devil in Me invites players into a meticulously engineered murder hotel, where a documentary film crew becomes trapped in a deadly recreation of H.H. Holmes’ infamous “Murder Castle.” Blending cinematic horror, psychological tension, and gruesome escape-room-style traps, the season finale of The Dark Pictures Anthology delivers a claustrophobic descent into obsession, survival, and the terrifying machinery of a killer’s mind.

About the ScoreThe Ticking Clock

Jason composed a slow-burn psychological horror score built around machinery, traps, mannequins, and the methodical presence of a human killer. Using ticking rhythms, mechanical textures, creeping tension, and carefully placed stingers embedded within longer musical suites, the score reflects the game’s Murder Castle setting—where fear comes not from the supernatural, but from calculation, control, and the terrible precision of human evil.

Another round of applause for Jason Graves, the outstanding composer of the series, who returns once again to prove he is a guarantee of quality.
